This privacy policy relates to your use of the website www.compilot.dk and Compilot ApS’ treatment of person data i relation to delivering services and products.

Below you can read about the information we collect, how we process it and who to contact if you have questions or comments about our policies.

Purpose #1 – Website optimization

Friendly and easy accessable web

COMPILOT ApS wants to offer a clear and user-friendly website with offers and information that is relevant to you.

To make this possible, we use technologies that can collect, process and sort information about how you and other visitors use our website. The information is primarily used to improve user-friendliness and in editorial work to further develop the website.

Purpose #1 – Website optimization
a) Website user experience optimization: Personal data is collected when you use our website. We use this information for statistical purposes and to optimize the user experience on our website and the services we offer. See our cookie policy for more information.

b) Statistics and marketing: Personal data is used for statistical and marketing purposes, including to target our communication with you based on your areas of interest and focus and to send you relevant marketing if you have consented to this. We may use personal data aggregation or profiling for the purpose of targeting our marketing. We also enrich your data with statistical information.

Inquiries regarding agreements with COMPILOT are deleted no later than 3 years after the end of the customer relationship
Inquiries regarding objections to payments are stored for 5 years plus the current year in accordance with the requirements of the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

Objective #4 COMPILOT on social media

Objective #4 COMPILOT social media pages

COMPILOT may have a fan page or a company social media page that you can visit and use. COMPILOT, together with the social media, is the joint data controller for the collection of personal data about you when you visit our social media page.

You can read in YouTube’s privacy policy what information is collected when you visit COMPILOT’s company page on YouTube and how the information is processed.

COMPILOT also processes the information about you that you send to COMPILOT, e.g. in connection with a direct inquiry from you to us on one of the above platforms. This will typically be your name and your question to us.

COMPILOT does not store, and does not have access to, information about your online behavior that is collected by Facebook. The information is stored by Facebook as described in Facebook’s privacy policy.

COMPILOT neither stores nor has access to the information about your online behavior collected by LinkedIn. The information is stored by LinkedIn as described in LinkedIn’s privacy policy.

COMPILOT neither stores nor has access to the information about your online behavior collected by YouTube. The information is stored by YouTube as described in YouTube’s privacy policy.

We will retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned.

Purpose #5 Video conferencing

Conduct and record video meetings in collaboration with COMPILOT.

COMPILOT does not record telephone calls to COMPILOT

Part 3: Data outside the EU/EEA

3. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA
In special cases, we may transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA (USA and Canada). Transfers to these third countries will only be made for specific purposes as mentioned in section 2 and we will always ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring to a country outside the EU/EEA.

Transfers to the USA will take place in accordance with the EU Commission’s adequacy decision and only to the companies approved under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Read more here.

The transfer to Canada will be made pursuant to the EU Commission’s standard contracts, as published by the EU Commission, or by other contracts approved by competent authorities. You can obtain a copy of the contract/agreement transfer basis by contacting us via the link below.

  • You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
  • You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
  • If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to your withdrawal of consent.
